Consultation: We will start with a detailed consultation to ensure this treatment is right for you and to talk through the expected results.
Procedure: treatment time may range in duration from 30-45 minutes depending on the number of areas you are having treated. You should be able to return to light normal activities (such as going back to work) immediately after your treatment appointment. Some people experience mild bruising at the injection sites.
Review: As the result cannot be fully assessed until two weeks after treatment, a review appointment is offered two to three weeks after the initial treatment, where results will be assessed.

What are the benefits?
The aim of treatment is to significantly reduce the appearance of wrinkles on the face. It can also be used for advanced treatments such as lip lines, chin ‘pebbling’, to lift downturned corners of the mouth and slim the appearance of the jaw line and neck. The ‘chewing muscle’ may also be treated to soften a square jaw or to reduce the effects of teeth grinding or jaw clenching at night.
How does it work?
Wrinkle relaxing injections use botulinum toxin to help smooth the skin by relaxing the facial muscles that cause fine lines and creases.
When will I start to see the results?
You may start to notice some improvement after the first two to five days. The full effect will be seen two weeks after treatment.
How long do results last?
Results may vary but tend to last between 3 - 5 months. Repeating treatment will deliver optimum results over time.

Before all treatments, you will require a consultation to assess your individual needs and requirements and advise on your suitability for anti-wrinkle injections.
Does it hurt?
Pain is minimal and requires no anaesthetic. Please let us know if you are nervous about needles.
Is it safe?
Anti-wrinkle injections are considered extremely safe when administered by a qualified practitioner. We will discuss the risks and benefits with you at consultation and again prior to treatment.
What do I need to do before my appointment?
We recommend that you do not drink alcohol the night before your treatment and caffeine on the day of your treatment as it can increase your risk of bruising.
It is important you tell us about any medicines or dietary supplements during your consultation as some medicines can adversely affect the way the toxin works or increase your risk of bruising.
What do I need to do after the treatment?
You will be advised to avoid extremes of heat or cold, vigorous exercise, lying down or leaning over for 4-6 hours and can return to light normal activities straight after your treatment. You will be advised not to reapply it for at least 12 hours after treatment.
Combining anti-wrinkle injections with other skin treatments can give amazing results but we recommend avoiding some other facial treatments that go over the same area (such as microneedling, facials or eyebrow treatments) for two weeks after your treatment.
